Biography:
Lynn Ellsworth was a program officer in the social science division of the Canadian International Development Research Center in their West Africa from 1987 to 1994. She worked in the fields of agricultural development, natural resource management, common property research, and third sector support. From 1994 to 2001, she worked as a consultant for the World Bank, USAID, the MacArthur Foundation, the Ford Foundation, the Government of Madagascar, and Britain's Department for International Development as well as many of the Washington consulting firms. She has a B.A. from Barnard, a M.I.A. from SIPA at Columbia University, and a Ph.D. from the Department of Agricultural and Applied Economics at UW-Madison.
