SIPA Net Impact is the local chapter of the international nonprofit organization, Net Impact whose mission is to make a positive impact on society by growing and strengthening a community of new leaders who use business to improve the world.

The SIPA Net Impact chapter focuses on the role that Corporate Social Responsibility, Social Entrepreneurship, and Sustainability can play in having a positive net social impact on the world. Our mission is to build and support an active network of people at SIPA and the larger Columbia community who are interested and involved in the area of Net Impact activities; organize events including lectures, panels, discussion forums, workshops and brownbag lunches; develop a curriculum agenda that furthers Net Impact-related fields as an area of academic focus at SIPA; provide networking and social events for members; support professional development activities including career fairs, and events with other Net Impact chapters; maintaining our alumni network and involving alumni in works of the organization; and increase visibility through extensive communication activities.
