Corporate Social Responsibility

Ethics and corporate social responsibility (CSR) are often reduced to narrow concepts about what is right and wrong, and what should be expected from a company from a moral perspective. SIPA Net Impact looks at it as the connection between bottom line and responsibility. It is about how a company views global challenges such as development, poverty, environment and corruption, their impact on a company and how they can be managed profitably and responsibly.

The objective of SIPA Net Impact is to create awareness and discussion on these topics. We invite you to take part and help create a constructive debate that should be present at our school.

For members interested in planning the CSR agenda at SIPA, including speaker events and workshops, please contact Melissa Sands at mls2196@columbia.edu.
