70 by 70 Fellowship Campaign
The 70 by 70 Fellowship Campaign seeks to raise funds to secure 70 fellowships to celebrate SIPA’s 70 years as the world’s most global policy school. To honor SIPA’s remarkable history, the funds will support outstanding SIPA students who have the potential to make a difference in the world.
Dr. David Ottaway IF ’63, MA ’68, PhD ’72 is a member of the SIPA Advisory Board and a Wilson Center Fellow. Dr. Ottaway has been instrumental in encouraging renewed focus on the importance of supporting fellowships for SIPA students.
Diego Llosa and Rachel Macauley (above), both '17 students, discuss how growing up in Peru and war-torn Africa, respectively, influenced their decision to pursue international and public affairs as a career. They both express their gratitude for the Fellowships that gave them the opportunity to attend SIPA.
SIPA has a long history of bringing the best and the brightest from around the world to the school. The 70 by 70 Fellowships continue this important legacy of educating the next generation of public policy leaders. Providing opportunities to these students and maintaining SIPA’s rich international community requires significant increases in financial aid.
Key features of the 70 by 70 Fellowship Campaign:
• Two-year fellowships to support students from admission to graduation
• Endowed fellowship opportunities to create a lasting legacy of support
