Monitoring World Vision's Area Development Program in Haiti

World Vision

Spring 2012
Application Status:
Only open to EPD students

This project was the culmination of 6 months of study into World Vision Haiti’s (WVH) Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation (DM&E) system. Research focused on two WVH Area Development Programs (ADPs): Men Nan Men and Cobocol, both located in Haiti’s Central Plateau region. The report was informed by desk research in New York and a field visit in January 2012 to Haiti, which included interviews with key stakeholders in the DM&E process. The study identifies areas of strength and weakness in WVH’s DM&E system and also analyzes areas in the system where Participatory Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation (P-PME) methods may be implemented.
