How Technology Can Help Fight Conflict, Instability, and Repression
Justin Kosslyn is a Product Manager at Google Ideas, exploring how technology can enable people to confront threats in the face of conflict, instability or repression. Among other projects, he led the strategy, development and launch of the Global Human Trafficking Hotline Network, and previously designed and launched improvements to Google News, Google AdSense for TV, and Google Docs. On the side, Justin currently teaches an undergraduate seminar at Yale on "Technology Design for Global Challenges." Justin holds a BS in Computer Science from Yale, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude with distinction in the major. He is a member of Phi Beta Kappa, the Carnegie Council on Ethics in International Affairs New Leaders Program, and is an Associate Researcher at the Igarapé Institute.
