Claire Palandri is a second year student in the PhD Program in Sustainable Development. She studied agronomy and environmental sciences in Paris, France, and holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Economics from AgroParisTech.

Her research interests focus on environmental and resource economics. She is notably interested in interactions between ecosystems and changes in pressures on water resources, and in the challenges of the transition towards a low-carbon economy. Before entering Columbia University Claire has had research experience on modelling land-use changes, she has worked as a junior consultant at a consulting firm specialized in energy transitioning and has worked for several months at the OECD on the impacts of biofuel policies.
