Xinming Du holds bachelor degree in Environmental Engineering and Economics honored by Tsinghua University, China. Her previous researches studied environmental issues using economics and statistics methods, and topics cover industrial emission behaviors, urban water system and air quality prediction. She also worked as research assistant in projects about emission trading schemes and China’s climate policy.
Before joining Columbia, Xinming took internships at UNDP, Brookings-Tsinghua Center for Public Policy, the International Council on Clean Transportation, and National Ministry of Environmental Protection in China. She also participated in United Nations Framework Convention of Climate Change and the Stockholm, Basel and Rotterdam Convention as a party delegate.
