SIPA will honor the distinguished economist and former Federal Reserve chair Janet L. Yellen and the International Finance Corporation, represented by CEO Philippe Le Houérou, at the Global Leadership Awards Gala on May 3. This year’s celebration will highlight the impact of financial innovation in addressing systemic challenges.
Now in its 18th year, the annual event recognizes the work of individuals and organizations who have made extraordinary contributions to the global public good. Honorees demonstrate the values and qualities that SIPA strives to instill in its students.
The 2018 Global Leadership Awards Gala will take place at New York City’s Mandarin Oriental Hotel. All proceeds will provide critical fellowship support for SIPA students who represent the next generation of global citizens and public policy leaders.
The Global Leadership Awards Gala is open to the public. To learn more or register, please visit the Gala website.
