On November 28th and December 5th MPA-EPM completed the Alumni Mentoring Workshops with breakfast chats with alumni from UBS, World Economic Forum, BlackRock, and J.P. Morgan.  These breakfast chats offered a platform for prominent MPA-EPM alumni to give current students advice on successfully navigating the career search.

The Alumni Breakfast chat on November 28, 2017, featured 2016 alumni Martin Hermida, Economist and Research Associate at UBS, and 2015 graduate Alonzo Neese, Community Lead for Financial Services at the World Economic Forum. During their breakfast chat, Martin and Alonzo offered guidance on how to take full advantage of the resources provided by the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and the MPA-EPM program as well as how to build a professional network.

Current Student Bernardo Orellana (MPA-EPM'18) took away from the chat was "how to connect the academic experience with our future ambitions."

Marke and Lopez expressed the need for students to do adequate research before engaging in networking conversations and suggested that current students narrow their focus area as to apply consistently to vacant positions.
