The Office of Information Technology at SIPA is the primary source of technology support for SIPA students. Services include: 

  • Access to the SIPA network;
  • MySIPA Citrix Portal for students;
  • Support for the student computer labs;
  • Laptop support of software related issues for systems with English language operating systemss;
  • AV support for SIPA E-rooms, events and video conference.
MySIPA Citrix Portal
Access to the mySIPA Portal is available to registered SIPA students with a valid SIPA network ID.
Laptop Requirement
All SIPA students are required to have a laptop with an Operating System in English language.
Student Support
Laptop support and software downloads are available for SIPA students.
Computer Labs
History of the SIPA Computer labs, and information on lab access, Picker Instructional Lab schedule, and lab hours.
Educational discounts for computers and software are available for personal and institutional purchases through CUIT. Think-Cell Chart is available for download through SIPA IT.
AV Services
Audiovisual support is available for the SIPA electronic classrooms (e-rooms), self-service rooms, non-erooms, events and video conferencing.
Policies and Procedures
SIPA computing guidelines complement the University guidelines. SIPA IT endeavors to create an atmosphere that balances respect for individual computer users and SIPA resources in order to maximize the greatest benefit for all users while maintaining ethical and community standards of SIPA and Columbia University.
