Flavio Bartmann teaches a course on theory and practice of Time Series Analysis designed to provide practitioners with a solid foundation on the modeling of finance and applied economics data. Prior to teaching at SIPA he spent 25 years in the financial industry in New York, Frankfurt and London with major institutions including J P Morgan and Merrill Lynch. Bartmann holds a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronautica (1974) in Brazil and a Ph. D. in Statistics from Princeton (1982).
