Introducing the Next Evolution of SIPA’s Curriculum
Starting with the fall 2025 semester, SIPA will launch changes to the MIA and MPA degrees which build on our strengths and at the same time addresses new global policy challenges.
Our newly STEM-designated MPA degree program and a more globally-immersive MIA degree program will prepare graduates to navigate a complex, sometimes-uncertain future, effectively shaping policy and systemic change. Reorganized and reframed concentrations better represent the key contemporary policy disciplines, including establishing data analytics as a standalone concentration. By restructuring the core curriculum around a modular format, students can customize their program based on their prior academic preparation and professional goals.
